Dr Kiran Puttappa joined the practice in 2018. He moved to U.K in 2001 and after gaining clinical experience, he moved to Australia in 2003. He has a vast clinical experience as a medical registrar in various public hospitals in Perth and the Gold Coast and he has a special interest in complicated general medicine cases and Diabetes. He holds FRACGP and Post Grad Dip in Diabetes from Cardiff. He also served as board member of RACGP (WA Faculty) from 2009-2013. He is currently a senior examiner to RACGP.

Awarded a Rural Health West Certificate for 35 continuous years servicing rural Midwest Region. During this time I was also involved in training doctors through WAGPET, RACGP and other Registrar Independent pathways as well as medical student’s programs for over 25 years.
Special interests is medicine itself, having worked for a long time in many remote and rural locations with a diverse array of patients of all ages and all backgrounds, my passion has always been to provide the best medical care I can offer to all patients.

Dr. Ranjita Bains

Dr Ranjita Bains is a highly experienced GP with over a decade of specialised expertise in women’s health. She is widely respected for her compassionate, patient-centred care and commitment to supporting women through all life stages with empathy and clinical excellence.
Her professional background includes work at King Edward Memorial Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus. She currently consults at Newpark Medical Centre, Ellen Stirling Medical Centre, Oasis Fertility, and Armadale Hospital.
Dr Bains’ key areas of interest include:
- Fertility consultations and early pregnancy care
- Antenatal, prenatal, and postnatal care, including shared maternity care up to 36 weeks
- Management of early pregnancy complications
- Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTOP) and Medical Management of Miscarriage
- Basic bedside obstetric ultrasound assessments
She is also highly skilled in:
- Contraceptive care, including Mirena and Implanon insertions / removals
- Menopause Management and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
- Chronic pelvic pain and medical management of endometriosis
Dr Bains brings a strong focus on respecting womanhood and promoting feminism in her clinical practice. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, she is known for her warm, approachable manner and ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.
In addition to general consultations, Dr Bains runs dedicated women’s health clinics under the name MIERA at Newpark Medical Centre and Ellen Stirling Medical Centre, providing tailored and supportive care in a welcoming environment.
